technology solutions for the Ponderosa Bar & Restaurant complex through
a partnership spanning nearly a decade. From full electrical rewiring to
multi-zone audio and structured networking, our team has supported the venue’s
ongoing development across several major project phases.

Project Timeline

• 2014: Full commercial electrical rewire of the main Ponderosa Bar & Restaurant.
• 2020: Electrical and technology installation for Paddy Joe’s Bar.
• 2023: Complete electrical, security, and smart technology package for The Hayshed venue.

The Challenge & Requirements

Modern hospitality venues require robust electrical infrastructure capable
of supporting high-demand power requirements alongside intuitive control
over audio, lighting, networking, and security.

To help transform the Ponderosa complex into a connected, future-ready venue,
the installation needed to address several important requirements:

• Overhaul legacy wiring to support modern commercial electrical safety requirements.
• Provide multi-zone audio distribution for different functional areas.
• Deliver commercial security coverage, including CCTV, fire detection, and intruder protection.
• Establish reliable wireless connectivity and structured LAN networking for staff operations and guest Wi-Fi.
• Support the ongoing expansion of the venue without requiring unnecessary infrastructure replacement.

Solutions Provided

AME Electrical Smart Homes engineered and installed an integrated commercial
electrical and technology infrastructure tailored to the operational demands
of a busy hospitality complex.

• Full Electrical Rewire: Replacement and upgrading of
electrical distribution boards, sub-circuits, and power distribution
  infrastructure across the project phases.
• Structured LAN Networking: Cat6/Cat6A cabling infrastructure
to connect venue terminals, EPOS systems, and network equipment.
• Enterprise Wireless Infrastructure: High-capacity Wi-Fi
access points designed to provide connectivity for guests and staff across
  the venue.

powered by Elan Home Systems, enabling staff to manage audio sources,
playlists, and volume levels across individual zones, including the Main Bar,
Paddy Joe’s Bar, and The Hayshed.
• Smart Venue Control: Intuitive control interfaces for
convenient management of supported venue electronics and media distribution.

Commercial Safety & Security

systems designed to help protect patrons, staff, and venue facilities.
• CCTV & Surveillance: High-definition security cameras
providing monitoring coverage across entry points, bar areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Intruder Alarm Systems: Intruder protection designed to
support the security requirements of a multi-building commercial property.

Key Deliverables

rewire, distribution boards, and emergency lighting.
• Smart Control & AV: Elan Home Systems and multi-zone
  commercial audio distribution.
• Networking & Wi-Fi: Structured LAN cabling and
  enterprise-grade wireless access points.
• Safety & Security: Addressable fire alarm systems,

media and audio allows staff to focus on guest service rather than managing
  separate equipment.
• Future-Ready Infrastructure: Upgraded power distribution
and structured cabling provide a foundation for future technology upgrades
  and venue expansion.
• Enhanced Guest Experience: Multi-zone audio and reliable
guest Wi-Fi help create a comfortable and connected environment across the
  different areas of the complex.
• Integrated Safety & Security: Electrical, fire detection,
CCTV, and intruder alarm provisions support the venue’s wider operational
  and security requirements.
• Long-Term Partnership: Nearly a decade of project work
and continued development demonstrates the value of a trusted electrical
  and smart technology partner.
