WHAT KNX LIGHTING DOES

The right light for every moment, from one touch.

Scenes

One touch for "Dinner", "Movie" or "Goodnight" setting every light in the room.

Dimming

Smooth control of compatible fittings, room by room (CONFIRM tunable white if offered).

Sensors

Presence and daylight sensing where it suits the room.

One system

The same controls can also do heating, blinds and security.

Plan it before the plaster.

Lighting circuits, switch positions and the KNX cabinet need to be planned before first fix. Send us your drawings and we’ll show you what it involves.

01 - PLANS

Decide what you want

Agree which rooms need scenes, dimming or sensors and where the switches go, working from your drawings.

02 - FIRST FIX

Cable it

Lighting circuits, KNX bus cable and the cabinet position go in before plaster so nothing is chased out later.

03 - SECOND FIX

Fit and programme

Switches, sensors and actuators are fitted, then the system is programmed and tested.

04 - HANDOVER

Learn the controls

We walk you through the scenes and controls so the house works the way you planned.

KNX + DALI

Control every fitting individually, without rewiring.

A DALI gateway lets KNX control DALI drivers and fittings, so groups and scenes are set in software rather than fixed by the cable.

Flexible zones

Agree which rooms need scenes, dimming or sensors and where the switches go, working from your drawings.

Fine dimming and tunable white

Lighting circuits, KNX bus cable and the cabinet position go in before plaster so nothing is chased out later.

Feedback and faults

Switches, sensors and actuators are fitted, then the system is programmed and tested.

KNX-DMX

Colour and effects, from the same keypads.

A KNX/DMX gateway lets your keypads, scenes and schedules drive RGB and RGBW LED lighting, so decorative lighting is part of the same system, not a separate remote.

Colour on demand

RGB, RGBW and tunable fittings for coves, kitchens, gardens and feature walls.

Scenes that include colour

Recall one scene that sets white lights, colour and levels together.

One control system

The same buttons, app and schedules as the rest of the house, with no stray remotes.

KNX + MODBUS

Bring plant and energy equipment into the same system.

A Modbus gateway lets KNX read from and control equipment such as heat pumps, MVHR units, solar inverters and energy meters, so it is monitored and automated alongside the lighting.

One view

See status, temperatures and energy use on the same screens and app.

Smarter automation

Act on the data, for example by running loads when solar generation is high.

Alerts

Faults and out-of-range readings reach you without a separate app for each unit.

KNX CLIMATE CONTROL

Steadier underfloor heating with PWM.

KNX room controllers work out how much heat each room needs and switch the underfloor valves on and off in proportion. This is pulse-width modulation (PWM), and it avoids the swings of a simple on/off thermostat.

Room-by-room zones

Each room has its own controller, schedule and setback temperature.

Stable temperatures

Proportional control reduces overshoot and undershoot, so rooms stay more even.

Joined-up savings

Window contacts and presence sensing can lower the setpoint when a room isn't in use.
