The Integrated Smart Home Solution

AME Electrical Smart Homes engineered a bespoke luxury smart home ecosystem
tailored to the architecture and everyday lifestyle of the residence. The
integrated solution brings together lighting, automation, audio-visual
entertainment, surveillance, and property access.

1. Robust KNX Smart Home Infrastructure

The core infrastructure was built around KNX building automation to provide
flexible lighting control, coordinated automation, and a foundation for future
system expansion.

• Smart Lighting Scenes: Custom-programmed mood and task lighting across the property’s living spaces.
• Automated Schedules & Occupancy Sensing: Automation based on schedules and room occupancy to help manage energy use.
• Expandable Infrastructure: A flexible system architecture designed to accommodate compatible future technologies.

2. Centralised Nice/ELAN Home Automation

The Nice/ELAN platform provides a central control interface, allowing the
homeowners to manage supported systems through in-wall touchscreens,
smartphones, tablets, and dedicated smart remotes.

• Remote Access: Remote monitoring and control of supported systems, subject to connectivity and configuration.
• User-Friendly Interface: Convenient one-touch scene activation for everyday activities.
• Custom Scenes: Presets such as “All Off”, “Movie Night”, and “Welcome Home” simplify common tasks.

independent audio zones throughout the property.

Covered Areas Include:

• Kitchen and open-plan living areas
• Dining areas
• Master suites and guest bedrooms
• Recreational rooms
• Outdoor patio spaces

The system supports music distribution across separate zones, independent
volume adjustment, and coordinated playback for whole-house entertainment.

Two dedicated media rooms were equipped with 5.1 surround sound audio and
video systems to create immersive home entertainment experiences.

• Immersive Surround Sound: Speaker placement and dedicated subwoofers designed to deliver an engaging cinema experience.
• Integrated Cinema Scenes: One-touch activation can coordinate lighting, motorised shades, displays, and AV equipment where configured.
• Dedicated Media Spaces: Two separate cinema rooms provide flexible entertainment options for the household.

to make security monitoring more convenient for the homeowners.

• High-Definition Surveillance: Camera coverage of key access points, driveways, and property boundaries.
• Remote Camera Viewing: Access to supported camera feeds through compatible mobile devices.
• Smart Notifications: Configured alerts can notify the homeowners of relevant security events.

two main entrance gates.

• Video Intercom: Visual visitor verification to help homeowners manage property access.
